The run-up to Halloween always brings an uptick in supernatural activity. That’s expected. But this year? It’s quiet. And that ought to terrify you. I’ve been tracking reports, checking with the usual sources—some I’d rather not discuss… nor remember—and something about this season just feels wrong.
The Signs Are There
Or they were. A month ago, I noticed signs. Subtle, at first. But the kind of signs that mean trouble is on the way:
- Spirits, the newly dead, lingering longer than they should, watching.
- Shadowy figures standing at the edges of crossroads, unmoving, waiting.
- Nature out of synch. Animals avoiding certain areas. Dead spaces in the air.
Now, it almost seems as if things are back to normal. Normal normal. Like non-Halloween normal. Except one thing: OHR agents aren’t hitting the streets.
Instead of investigating, they’re bracing. Holding back, keeping assets in reserve. What else should we believe than something massive is on its way? And what better—or worse—time than tonight?
This Isn’t Just Another Halloween
I’ve been through enough of these to know the pattern. The usual rules still apply—don’t answer the knock at 3 AM, don’t go near an abandoned church after dark, don’t follow a stranger into the woods. But this time, I’m not sure they will be enough.
Something is coming. I don’t know what. Neither does the OHR, or if they do, they aren’t saying. But I’ll tell you this—if they’re going to ground, then we’re left exposed.
Watch your surroundings. Don’t take any risks you don’t have to. And if you hear your name whispered from somewhere it shouldn’t be? Do. Not. Answer.
TLDR: I don’t sound alarm bells for the sake of it. But this year? Something’s off. I can feel it. So can the OHR. So can anyone with sense. Pay attention.
Stay sharp. Stay Unveiled.
