You have joined the millions of Unveiled who call Earth home. The other 8 billion? We call them the Veiled—unaware everyday mortals. Lucky them.
Right now, you’re probably wondering: what changes? Everything. You’ll hear whispers about unsanctioned vampires. You’ll see shadows that aren’t shadows. You’ll know when something’s wrong before it goes bad. You’re going to have to learn some new rules to stay out of trouble. And there’s a lot of trouble around.
Fortunately, there are good guys in our realm.
I say realm because here in the States, those good guys are agents of the Office of Hidden Realms, or OHR. You might catch a glimpse of them now and then, shutting down an infestation of pixies, dissolving a poltergeist or sending a demon back to its hell.
If you see them in action, expect a knock on your door. OHR agents track witnesses. They’ll want to know what you saw, what you can do and whether you’re a threat or an asset.
